Turning a digital image into thread is an art form called “digitizing.” To get the best results for your custom embroidery, keep these tips in mind:
- Size Matters: Avoid tiny details. Any text smaller than 1/4″ tall will likely become a “blob” of thread.
- Gradients: Embroidery uses solid thread colors. While we can blend colors, smooth gradients are much better suited for screen printing in Bozeman.
- Vector Files: Sending .AI, .EPS, or high-res .PDF files helps our designers ensure your lines are crisp.
